My mother lived in Winnipeg while my father was overseas during WWII. She often spoke of going with her sister's family to a place called, I believe Hobbans. (Might not be exact spelling or pronunciation) I am interested in any information someone might have on this place. Last time I was in Winnipeg I tried to find it but with no luck. I suspect it no longer exists so I am hoping someone recalls it or has a parent or grandparent who does.

I have now lived in Winnipeg for 5 years and lives 30 min from Winnipeg before that, I haven't heard of that place but if you do get teh write spelling I will be glad to answer your question.
