USC....Why?...With the defense they have this year, they are looking pretty tough. Plus their offense can put up 40 pts a game easily! NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look for them to kick Nebraskas a** this weekend!

Ohio State! You don't get 59 out 65 number 1 votes for nothing. Their offense is the best in the country. Everyone has questioned their defense with 9 new starters but when you hold Texas to just 7 points in their own house is pretty incredible.

Notre Dame they have too many weapons on offense, a solid D, and an excellent head coach, not to mention a brutal schedule which they can handle. come Feb National Champions

Right now I'd say Notre Dame. Ohio State's looking good, too. If the Oregon Ducks can beat Oklahoma this weekend, then beat USC, they'll be the best.

Notre Dame, because they clobbered Penn St. who is also a very good team. The jury is still out on Ohio St. because Texas may not be as good as people think.

Unfortunately, Ohio State does. Why? Troy smith and the offense. I hope Michigan kills them at the end of the year. I hate OSU
