File a supenea for the records, they will have to turn them over or show good reason why not!
Also I would contact the VA bar association to file a complaint on your atty
a first year law student should know how to handle that one!

Tell your attorney that if you get a certified copy the court may accept them. There is also a way of sending a subpoena that soys 'so requested" not so ordered, ansk ask the school to deliver a copy to the court in a sealed envelope, with a copy of the subpoena.

Attorneys should be lost, Thry should search for ways to got things done

You should be able to get your kid's school records without a subpoena. Phone the school and ask them what kind of ID you need to send them and how much it will cost to get a copy of their school records. By law, you as the parent, have just as much right to those records as the other parent.

Send a registered letter to the school requesting a copy of the files. There may be a charge. I think the name of the file is CA-39. In fact - why don't you just call them first? They will tell you what you need to do.

First of all, if your attorney has not done anything, she has to give you your money back if you fire her. It is her place to have those records subpoenaed.

you are entitled to your kids school records no matter where you live.

just write or call school in question and ask what you have to do to get the records to your location. you may have to go there in person to get records

since we dont have the whole story it is hard to give accurate advice

If you are a legal guardian call the school and simply ask, let the principle know what's going on and they will tell you how to go about it

If they are your kids, you should be able to call their school and have them send you a copy.
