Feeling flush is a saying that originated in the game of poker. A 'flush' is a run of cards in the same suit and is usually a winning hand. Thus if someone had a flush they would win plenty of money. From this we get the expression 'feeling flush' when you have a larger amount of money than usual.

I assume your sentence should be ' a little snort if he's feeling flush.'. A 'snort' is an English slang word meaning 'a drink of alcohol, usually spirits', so what is being said here is that 'he' would buy himself a drink of, say, whisky, if he had enough money in his pocket. It has nothing to do with a flushed face.

feeling "flush" usually means feeling like you have plenty of money.

If the text said he was "feeling flushed", that would mean hot or feverish, as the previous answers mentioned.

This is just one example of why the correct spelling of a word is so important.

The face is red, body temperature probably a little higher than normal, probably clamy (kind of like a cold sweat).

This simply means he had "money to burn"-excess cash he didn't have to use to pay bills or other obligations-He was free to use it as he pleased.
