I love them both, but it sounds like they are going to go fisticuffs the next time they meet, and if they do, I won't know whose side to take.
They are arguing because my brother was messing with our homecomputer when we were out. He deleted loads of files and downloaded loads of weird stuff. I am angry with him, but not as angry as my boyfriend is.

How did your brother get your password on your computer?
While I agree that he really screwed up - the worst part is putting you in the middle of the whole mess.
Take sides? I don't think so! I would let the guys handle it between themselves. Remember - family is forever!
By the way - change the password!

You shouldn't take any side.but you must talk to your brother and find out why he is doing that. Your boyfriend has a reason to be angry at him for messing with your computer but not to a point to do anything that would hurt your brother. You must also talk to your boyfriend that you will be the one to talk to your brother since he is your family. Just tell your BF to stay calm and you will talk to your brother

You need to evaluate the situation, You don't have to take sides but sit with your brother and explain that you are angry with him, you should sit with your boyfriend also and tell him that you understand he is mad but for your sake to tone it down a bit.

you're brother had no right to delete your files and download other things... just using your computer woulda been a totally different subject. i feel like he crossed a line he shouldn't have and you should side w/ your bf.

I'm on your boyfriend's side on this one--your brother screwed up and should TOTALLY apologize. If whatever he deleted is purchasable, he should replace it, too.
