i would say that sometimes in your life you tend to give in ,to small problems that you could easily overcome. but the thought of people thinking you may be a showoff or over confident makes you take a step too far back ,almost letting the grass grow under your feet .causing you to mentally kick yourself sometimes in frustration.problem=you get in your own way sometimes by thinking things through too much .solution=go with the flow sometimes and do whats right for yourself. i would be tempted to say you are a piscean.

Hello!
Being attacked by a cat means that you have some problem now a days which u r trying to supress, however when u r dreaming the repressive mechanisam gets loose and weak, so the thoughts which are at your sub-conscious comes into your conscious through images which you have seen in the day. It may be a cat because you don't like (or are afraid of) cats. May be before having that dream u saw a cat in the daytime.
Now u failed to stab it with the intention of stabbing it. It is complex thinking of mind which u don't like to think in when u r awake and supress it. But the thought comes to u when u r dreaming, through the images of cats and knives. Your problem seems like there is something that you like and dislike at the same time, u wanna get rid of it, but at the same time u r afraid that if u get rid of it, how r u gonna survive without it. It may be a friend whom u r not been able to own or disown. It may be a job or any thing. Just think what can it be.
Solution: All u have to do is to have some thinking, visit ur best friend, let urself loose and tell him/her about the problems u r facing. Even share those which u r unable to tell. Whn "this" particular problem, which u r trying to supress, comes to ur mouth and u tell it to ur friend, then u will feel relax. Share the problem and try to sort it out, discuss it, don't supress it... Best of luck!

Your outer beauty is represented by the cat and you are insecure about this. You perhaps feel a need for change yet are afraid of the unknown.
This is not necessarily a cosmetic change, perhaps a lifestyle, career or family/ partner.
Examine your life as though you were another person.. daft as it sounds it's a useful exercise.
Look at where you've been in the last six months and compare it to the "you" of ten years ago..
Maybe it's time for a change.

My dreams are from the day or days before going to bed. Example: My husband hit the car alarm... My dream that evening, the car alarm was going off and I couldn't stop it. Another: I saw and old car drive by. That evening I was driving in the old car. Are you afraid of someone, something that has power over you. Girlfriend, animal... and eat some chocolate that sends your imagination over the edge. Just a thought, my dreams do come from previous experiences in dramatic dreams.

Cat
Cats represent power, freedom and the animal self, especially for females. To dream of being a cat means you will triumph in an upcoming conflict. If you don't like cats, or you have an unpleasant experience with them in your dream, you are uncomfortable in some way with the more feminine side of your personality. Also see "Kitten."

A person’s life is full of dreams. Dream can be about one’s ambition which he gets fulfilled with the passage of time thru his own hard work, intelligence, good planning and with the blessings of Almighty. Another is day dreaming which is really not a good habit and can be controlled with one’s will power. But what about the dreams a person experiences during sleep. Do they hv effect in our real life? What do they mean? What is their interpretation? The person asks to his friends, elders and seniors in his social circle. Sometimes he gets satisfactory reply and sometimes not. These days Internet is a rich source of information. So one does not need to depend on others for one’s dream interpretation. The Yahansmaniac Community member suggests the following.

Being attacked, killed = being criticized, disciplined
Wild cat = some high authority you don't agree on.
It could be some sort of anger in you and you feel like by projecting being in dream could vent it out. It could be teacher, parent, bosses. Subconsciously, you want to be attacked because that is how you project fear. It is a dream of fear of authority and perhaps a little insecurity about things/people around you.

There is something in your life that is small in detail and it causes you to fear.....This small thing will destroy your life and you desire to get rid of it, but you feel like you need it, that is why you went and hid.
