Hmm...good point. I can see how they might not be considered twins to some since they were not born on the same day. But since they both developed together either from two eggs in the womb at the same time or from one egg that split apart, they are still twins.

Of course they are, they came out of the same pregnancy didn't they?
Where I went to school, we had some twins join us, but one was in my year, and the other in the year below, because they has been born either side of the cut-off date that determined which year they would be in...weird, huh?

They are definitly twins! They shared together in utero the entire pregnancy but just happened to be born on different days.

Yes indeed the would be twins. There have even been rare instances of twins being born days or even weeks apart.

Depends on the years.
If they are born in 2005 and 2006 respecfully, then yes.
If one was born in 2001 and the second in 2005, then no.

Ofcourse they would be twins, it means that they are born 1 hour and 2 minutes (62 minutes) apart, which does not seem abnormal to me

what makes one twins is the fact that both zygotes formed (were conceived) at the same time - not when they are born. My twin sister and I are 32 minutes apart....we are still twins.

Yes they will always be twins, unless the father got two women pregnant at the same time they'll be half brothers.

Yes, it has nothing to do with the minute they were born. Most parents would just chose one day though and have that be the birthday. The doctors give you a choice.
