I have been trying to get PG. I did everything possible to increase my chances this cycle. My period is due to start today. I have taken the 1st Response "5 days before" PG tests today and yesterday and the results were negative. I have not gotten my period YET, nor have I had any symptoms (bloating, cramps, etc.) however I have had some minor spotting/brownish mucus. I had a miscarriage last month, when I was 5 weeks. My Dr gave me the OK to try again... do you think there is any chance I am PG? I am nervous about the neg results since when I was PG, I had low HCG and my pregnancy miscarried. Anyone have any similar experience? Any brown discharge the day of your expected period and you were PG? I am just so tired of the waiting game.

Oh, and please spare me any sarcastic rude responses!

Could it be implantation bleeding this close to my expected period start date? I ovulated on 8/30...(confirmed with OV test) but as I said, I miscarried on 8/16 so my cycle could be slightly off???

I suffered a miscarriage 4 weeks ago. I was 9 weeks, I went for a routine scan and they said there was no heartbeat. They asked if I had experienced any bleeding. I had done but it was a discharge like you described and it was on the day my period was due. It only happened the once and stopped. I took a pregnancy test a few days later and it was positive. When I mentioned the bleed to doc she was not too concerned and said it could have been an implantation bleed. Have you had a period since your miscarriage? Usually they recommend having at least one period before trying to get pregnant again. My best advice is see your doc who will run a blood test for your hcg levels to make certain that you are. Then they will either scan you or wait a couple of weeks and do another hcg test to see if the levels are rising or falling.

I'm sorry for your previous loss and I hope this turns out ok for you. If it hasn't happened this time and you are not pregnant don't let it get you down too much. It will happen when when your body is ready. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.

Your period should return 4-6 weeks after your miscarriage is over. So, if you are still in that window of time, there is a chance that your period is still on its way. Of course if you have sex during your ovulation period, you may become pregant. The trick is knowing when you are ovulating. If you've not learned how to track your cycles, I suggest reading the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertitlty" http://www.tcoyf.com . It also has tons of good general information on women's health and reproduction. But you should also know that home tests can give you false negatives, even the early detection tests. I'd wait a few more days and test again.

As for the cramping and spotting, this can be due to ovulation bleeding, which is normal and somewhat common, and you can experience this even if you've never experienced it before.

As for the miscarriages, I'm very sorry for your losses. I've had 2 miscarriages this last year, my second one was due to low progesterone. After my first miscarriage my period came at 4 weeks on the dot. After the second, I spotted for about a month then had my period at about 6 weeks. Eventually your cycle will regulate itself.

Anyway, good luck, and I hope everything works out for you.

Sorry to hear about your loss. A miscarriage is as traumatic for your body as it is for you. Your body has to get back to normal after a miscarriage, your body might be acting up a little bit right now because of what recently happened. If your hcg levels were low last time chances are that they might be low this time too but if the test said negative, then I would trust the test. Only one thing I recommend you to do is even though the doctor told you it is ok to go ahead and try again, I would wait for at least 3 months, give your body a chance to recover from what just recently happened, let your body get back to a normal cycle before trying again, that will make it easier on you and it will reduce the risk of miscarrying again.

There is a strong poss u could be pg. They say after a miscarriage is the easiest way to get pg again. Try another pregnancy test in about another wk if your menses doesn't come. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you could be. Your body is still getting over your last pregnancy and your hormones could be doing odd things. It took me many tests for it to register i was pregnant. Also your lack of period could be from your body getting over the pregnancy. It will take a while to get regular periods again.
