If they don't get Itchy, they should, because Itchy would take care of those pesky humans, Itchy & Scratchy style, and then the bugs would have nothing to worry about, that is, unless Itchy turned on them. You never know what that rat is capable of.

I think if we bite them they die as they are so small. Although I have heard roaches will "take a bath" after being touched by a human, apparently they do not like the way we smell...

it depends on the current anti-coagulation anigens in your saliva at the time. I find a steady diet of salt and sour apple blowpops ups the content to just the right level to leave a welt on their tiny little legs for a couple of days. If you bite a spider, however, your tongue will catch fire.
