Every year I say I'm going to dress up and go to an adult costume party on holloween but I never do. What's it all about, should I really plan to go to one this year?

My friend Beefy has a Halloween party every year, I've been going for about 8 years on and off (I'm 32 this year) the costumes people wear are a riot; and it's always good fun. We used to go into town to the pubs and clubs when everyone lived in the city, but now everyone has moved out of town, it's held at Beefy's house.
(Hell, I get dressed up for any party, not just Halloween. There's a picture of me and some friends at a school disco on my 360, it's just the one pic, but you get the idea)
It's all about dressing up and having fun, so definitely go to one this year.

It is a lot of fun. I have done them twice (granted I am a 20-something) and had a blast both times. The edgy or super-creative costumes combined with enough alcohol are what make them fun.

You should go. It's fun. If you do, dress up as Batgirl.
