Go where the girls are...there are more and more opportunities for people with brain injury to meet others with brain injury...and if you have the confidence to go out and meet people in the wild world, try that too. Practice and you will get the hang of it.

Well Hun, the worse thing they will say is I don't want a serious relationship lets keep are friendship. That is at least honest and don't let it effect your good friendship. The best is they say ok. Sometimes your better off meeting people who have similar problems because you can relate better. That is the most important part of a relationship is friendship and being able to relate to each other and problems. I have a special child, and problems of my own. Trust me take the time to find the right one married 3x. Your friend Red.

Do you already have a girl in mind? As with anyone wanting a relationship, you need to let the girl know you care for her. By, giving her a gift, complimenting her looks, or asking (note: ask) if you may kiss her. She will she that you want more than a friendship, and you'll get a response that's let's you know where you stand.

Hi i am a recreation therapist and work with people with brain injuries all the time. My advise to you is to be your self; if asked tell her the truth and if she is a decent girl it shouldn't matter that you have a brain injury.

Just be yourself when you are with a girl, and if they ask what happened then caually answer, and make them feel as if it's no big deal to you anymore, and so girls will eventually get past it as well and get to know the real you.

I recommend expressing yourself openly, but without expectations.
Do this if ready to get whichever answer.

You can also try approaching women in a similar condition, thus having things in common..
