He told Leno that he had been on another flight with four guys who he and a flight attendant thought were suspicious. They reported this to the FAA who did nothing because it was racial profiling. Ultimately, Woods identified two of the pilots on 9/11 as two of the four he had seen on that flight. They were on the original flight for a "test run." My question is do you think that the politcal correctness of not wanting to profile these guys resulted in 9/11? I do.

Woods said in response to the FAA and profiling: "How many Norwegian terrorists are there." I feel badly for the law-abiding Arabs who have to deal with this. But profiling protects them, too.

I try and put myself in the place of Arabic looking people who are law-abiding citizens, and I STILL think that we should be doing profiling. If they cannot understand why, then they have not been paying attention.
Why go after the little old ladies with their crochet hooks? If little old ladies start hijacking planes using their little crochet hooks, then BY GOD profile THEM and search them thoroughly and often.

Interesting. Having just flown a couple of weeks ago, they are still not profiling and they are still doing ridiculous stuff. Doesn't if figure that someone that is 25 years old and has an Arab name is more likely to be an issue than a 70 year old woman with an Arab name? Yet, they still mess with everyone.

If there had been more "profiling" of people who brought possible weapons on board, 9/11 would not have happened.

I think that the only reason why the hijackers succeeded is because we were all punks at the time. Box cutters were allowed on the plane and perfectly legal to carry on 9-11. So even if we profiled them, searched them, and then looked for a reason to detain them, there was nothing that we could have nailed on them.
