i think my gay male friend likes my cousin, but he's supposedly not straight. so my question is, is it possible, or are my eyes just playing tricks on me?

ok im adding more details lol i would not have a problem with it if he liked her, because she already likes him and i dont want to mislead her into thinking he likes her back, because as far as i know he's gay, but he does flirt with her a lot, touches her, and there is something about the way he looks at her, its a completely different way than the way he looks at me

A lot of times people who are insecure like to flirt with people who are "safe" because it can't go anywhere.

Thus a straight girl flirts with gay men, or gay men flirt with straight women. It gives them the boost of flirting, without the fear that it could lead to emotional vulnerability.

Your friend may not be gay. It is possible for people of different sexual orientations to blur the lines between their gender of preference. Whether it is just one instance or if they are bisexual by nature is another question.

If he does like her then he is bi and not gay. Many ppl just choose to be gay because society tells you that you can't have both. So its one or the other. But I think hes just bi and there isn't anything wrong with it.

Yes, it's bisexual. One of my friends came out of the closet after I knew him for a year and a half. He ended up getting married to a woman 3 years later and having a kid. He is also faithful.

Sure why not? I don't see why he couldn't be "attracted" to her.. he may never act on it, and it might not be a "sexual" attraction.... but maybe more of a friendly attraction.....

Just as he didn't choose to be gay, he probably isn't choosing to be attracted to her.. it maybe has just happened....

Best of luck =)

from my experience some gay men appear to be very flirty. my cousin's bf and his bf's friends always touche me and hug me, tells me i'm beautiful, etc. but it's just a friendship. that's just how they (his friends i mean) are.
