What makes you think that they are greedy? I think that people who expect someone else provide their daily needs are greedy.

It's OK for a child to expect this, but an adult must be willing to provide useful services (read job) to get their daily bread from strangers.

I worked for what I have. Both my wife and I started in lower middle class families and worked our way up thru hard work and frugal living. We are generous to truly needy people but we're not suckers who support dead beats.

I've noticed more greedy poor people than I have wealthy, and I've known more than a few of both. Poor people are so often grousing about what someone else has, jealously thinking that they are just as deserving, though rarely without having invested so much of their money and efforts to be truly deserving.

Some of the most generous people I know are wealthy. Some of the most stingy I know are poor. While both of these aren't always true, I often wonder if ********* (look it up, it is a valid and descriptive term, not a misspelled pejorative) behavior doesn't make its own bad luck. Misers (synonym of the previous word for you Cretans who still think I made a racial slur), or stingy people, sometimes create misery. This happens no matter which financial strata you live in.

I think you're generalizing there, and quite unfairly. What makes you say wealthy people are greedy based on one persons actions?
Some people in every class are greedy, yes, including the poor.
As long as you associate wealthy people with greed, you will never become wealthy or even close to it because you think of it as a negative thing.

I don't think they are really greedy I think the more they make the more they spend the more they spend the more it takes for them to get along in this world! In the end they probably are worse off for all that hard work trying to get ahead and stay there! lol Have a great day.

you in basic terms ought to outline "grasping." it really is an party. I make extra or less $35,000 a three hundred and sixty 5 days. So, on occasion, i prefer to purchase a sport. Which expenses $60. each and every time I spend $60 on a sport, i will not help yet look down at my hand and picture "Wow, nicely, there's a ravenous Mexican baby who might want to devour for a month, yet i fairly prefer to shoot some imaginary zombies at present." Am I "grasping"? actually not by employing the criteria of the perfect American, yet by employing a hypothetical purpose wide-spread - who can likely say? $35,000 isn't "wealthy" in u . s . - it really is slightly decrease than the median - in spite of the undeniable fact that it places me contained in the accurate 3% of earning global. So am I "wealthy"? again... demanding to assert.

Because people are always asking them for handouts. It's not that they're greedy (well at least most of them) they just don't want to be used.

I am not wealthy, but I can see their point of view. I'm just not going to hand my money over to someone. If you want something work for it. I didn't work all week just to hand it over because you ask for it. And that's not being greedy.

Was it enough electricity to really make a difference in your bill? Was it to repair your apartment?

Are you sure your landlord is the greedy one?

Assuming the word "greedy" is being used as an over-generalization.....

It's how the rich stay rich.....one doesn't become or stay wealthy by giving handouts or making poor investments.

Call the electricity company and tell them you want your OWN line. Explain what's going on. This is illegal. My mother had this problem with her water line. The neighbors refused to put their own line in so she went to court. She won!
