Haha yeah their smarter alright, smartasses. Tell me what IQ does it take to become wise? A person with a high IQ may not necessarily be wise, is this not true. The liberals are against the death penalty yet for killing babies? Does that make sense to you? Maybe you can conjure up some scientific equation to answer that one or you can use simple rational logic...I go with logic on this one. Democrats have this misconception that they are so much more educated than us dumb hick republicans yet their states are the most immoral pieces of junk. Democrats are more worried about terrorists rights than they are about what the terrorists are doing? Is there another scientific hypothesis to that or does this just seem idiotic, I'll go with the latter. Its so funny that democrats preach this higher than art thou BS yet most of their voters are uneducated poor people. Do I have anything against poor people, no, but the fact of the matter remains your house income has a lot to do with your educational background, so I ask you, how are they smarter than republicans?

Actually, they're not. Three years ago, some university did a study of about one thousand Republicans and one thousand Democrats in the state of Pennsylvania and found that the average IQ of the Republican was around 112 whereas the Democrats averaged a 109. Not that I'd look down on a Democrat because of some study.

The northern and west coast states tend to take the SATs. The southern states tend to take the ACTs. Midwestern states take either one, or both depending on what schools they want to attend. The tests are totally uncorrelatable. you cannot "determine" the IQ of the taker of one or the other, which is the fallacy of this study. They assign IQ's based on SAT results or ACT results. The northern states guide their curriculum to getting a higher score on the SAT and the south doesn't.

This is flawed, unscientific data. The only true way to do this would be to compare averages of actual IQ tests. They could easily do that, but for some reason chose to assign IQs instead of empirically measuring them.

Bad science = bad data. This was made up and is not realistic.

I can't keep from flashing back to Dukakis riding around in the Abrams tank looking like a true idiot. Did anyone actually think he had respect for the military. Did he actually get votes from that stunt?

Reminds me of what a professor used to say about Polls and Statistics:
They do not tell things how they are, only how you want them to be. What this means is that most question askers will rehash that data and criteria until their viewpoint is supported.

Scholars tend to need governement money to finance their research. Democrats tend to be looser with the purse strings for such funding. They support those that fund them..thus are democrats.

If by smarter you mean they have a college degree it because they normally spend more time laying around in school than getting into the work world. I wish I was back in college again. Life was so much simpler then. Liberalism is a mental disorder!
