It is up to your ex husband to take care of what goes on in his house. She might not like to be around your children, but she must respect that they came along with the package- so she has to get used to it. As long as she is not mistreating them in any way- i say ignore her. If the kids live there full time, you may want to try and get custody of them yourself. That way you know they will be in a totally loving environment.

Take you to court? Are you serious, so he can explain to the judge what an a** he is marrying. I am divorced with three children, my X and I are both in relationships, luckily we all feel that the kids HAVE to come first. This is your X's problem. If he can honestly marry someone who dosen't want to be apart of your children's life...I say you take HIM to court and let the judge decide. The kids don't deserve to be put in a situation where they feel like they are unwanted. My kids are my world and I would do whatever I would have to, to keep them protected. Your X needs to grow up, and grow some cajones and stand up for his children!

There is not much you can do. Your ex is going to have to decide the right thing to do. Unfortunately, this new love of his is more important to him (at the moment). But, rest assured that will change and one day he will feel guilty, when all the twilly, frilly sweetness of new love is gone.

All you can do now is pray. And, don't make a big deal about it to the kids. Tell them that dad is not thinking straight right now, but one day he will come around. Pray for God to deal with his fiancee. Pray for God to open his eyes to God's will and not hers.

Tell the older child that he/she is not the parent of the 10-year-old and that is the dad's and your job. Tell them to be children and love one another. Do not let your 15 yr old order your 10 yr old around. They still have you.

If ex won't talk to you, write him a heart felt letter. Keep your personal feelings out of it. Tell him how it will affect your children one day.

This is God's worry, not yours. Let your ex deal with it. Let your children learn from it.

Whats your ex thinking why in the world would he want to marry a woman who wants nothing to do with his children that says alot about him no wonder hes your ex anyways maybe you should speak with an attorney about this maybe supervised visits will be better because this just doesnt sound right why would he choose a life partner who knows that he has children and they will always be his children yet she wants nothing to do with them this is silly as well as petty she needs to grow up because his kids were in the picture long before she was and after shes gone they will still be in the picture.

You haven't said who the children live with, however, if you feel that the situation isn't really in the children's best interests, you should seek to modify the custody or visitation by filing a motion in family court. The children will be given a law guardian who will interview them and allow them to speak their minds and protect their interests.

I can't imagine what your ex thinks he's going to take you to court over, but you can't let that stop you from doing what is right.

You married a real peach! If it's any consolation, everything that you went through with this rat-bastard, the new wife will have to go through as well - with this guy even more set in his ways.

This response is based on my lack of clarity around who has the kids - this is assuming that you do:

Honestly, I wish I had better news - but you're screwed, unless you got the money for a hotshot lawyer. But if you want your children to survive this fiasco with minimal damage, I'd keep the legal involvement to a minimum.

Your children have already paid a tremendous price for your ex-husband's deplorable behavior. All you can do now is pick up the pieces and give them everything you can from your heart and with your love and care - it's worth it for them.

If your husband does - take him to court and get those kids back.

That really sucks, my heart goes out to your children. From a financial standpoint does he pay child support? If not you need to get a lawyer, you do have rights! From an emotional standpoint, you are best not badmouthing your ex to your children, but instead give them your love and attention. It will help your children out in the long run. If your children feel neglect and you feel helpless, please get them to see a family shrink.

You might want to consult an attorney in your state and seek custody of your children as it sounds like they are not in a good enviroment.
