You need to post and/or research more information about this. I have not heard of such a thing but, I'm sure that if it is true there is more to it than you are putting up here. Could you please site a source for this information so that others could learn more about it before the crazy people go into panic mode?

Here is a story about the FDA approving the spraying of "bacteriophages" on meat:

On the plus side, the studies have shown that these particular viruses only attack specific bacteria that's harmful to humans.

On the negative side, I can't imagine that these viruses simply evaporate when there isn't bacteria to eat, and that it may be months or years before we know if the viruses are truly harmless.

I am not a doctor or scientist, so I can't really say whether this is a good idea or not. But generally speaking, I'm not thrilled by the idea of adding (arguably) living organisms to our food (I've drank beer with live yeast in it before: the stuff tastes nasteeee!) ;) Life has a funny way of acting in ways we don't predict.

what? is this supposed to be like the polio vaccine or something? inject a little into the human system and it will build up anti-bodies??

I dont eat processed meat, nor do I eat hot dogs, but this is out of hand and I would hope that the packaging is clearly labeled.
