I've just bought some today after rejecting them for a while. I have got quite skinny legs so thought I'd give them a go. In one shop I was told they don't have any because they sold them LAST SEASON (in the tone of 'are you stupid? No-one's wearing them anymore!'). I don't like following fashions and it wouldn't put me off wearing them, I'm just worried in case I go out in them and people are laughing at me!

The people in the shop are stupid, not you.
They are probably jealous that you can wear skinny jeans....
buy more and strut your stuff...and dont give a damn about what a stupid shop girl thinks or says...what makes her qualified anyway? sje isn't a stylist"!

They are still in. I just bought a pair the other day as well because I think they will go a lot better with some of the sweaters being sold now.
I saw on a morning news show the other week that skinny jeans are here to stay. For a while at least.

skinny jeans are still in fashion. However fashion changes so fast that it is really hard to keep up with. Boyfriend, slightly baggier jeans are in just now. As are highwaisted jeans . If you wait long enough the designers just churn out looks from decades ago and hail them as "the must have peice of the season", Wear what you want and feel good in them. If your working it then you'll feel a million dollars.

Skinny jeans/ pants are huge for fall. Most stores carry a few styles a couple of seasons early to find out if that product will indeed sell. Your right on the timeline fashion wise.

Yes they are. The best way to check what is in fashion are to look at what A list celebs are wearing. After all they are the leaders in fashion.
However if you are not a follower go for what you feel comfortable in - and if that's skinnies then go for it!

I think they must be still in. I just bought a pair today! They were all over the store, they were all over the catalogue too. I liked them and bought a pair.. I'm not worried as long as it looks good on me, wether it's last season or not.. I always worry about that for handbags mostly.. not clothes.

Yeah i think so, though all of the shops where i live say 'boy-fit' jeans are 'in'. But i just say wear whatever. Im still wearing my skinnies.

Yes they are in fashion, don't worry about retail assistants as it's their job to sell you what they have and not what you want.
If you don't believe me about the 'in fashion thing' then watch Hollyoaks and programmes of that nature/ for that age group.
They look fabulous if you're not a hefty piece of work!

Yes, they are still in fashion, will be big this winter with long boots,dont be put off wearing what you want,assistant obviously didnt know what she was talking about.

They are totally in... just make sure they look good on you. You don't want to wear clothes just because it's the fashion and look horrible in them.
