Well it is a fact that should be made very clear to the buyer but they are not the most reliable of things and the product is rather useless if they have leaked acid everywhere and the goods are, - no good! And if you follow the news Dell have had to do a recall on some of the most expensive batteries around because they were exploding on laptop computers.

I just hate that, the only place I know that always gives batteries with its products is that shopping channel QVC, its their policy, we never give a gift without the batteries, how awful would it be to see a child's face on Christmas day with no batteries for its toys.

These companies have shares in battery companies too!! Also, batteries can leak and this would damage the product it is in, could be £500 camera destroyed by dodgy batteries.

there's a bolt down holder that bites right into a groove on your battery this prevents it from shifting round. in case you loosen the bolt holing the piece of demanding plastic then your battery might want to come loose. I recommend you ask a neighbor or chum to borrow a ratchet extension, reason my "Transporter" isn't operating yet!

It is so the corporations who sell the product will get you to buy batteries from corporations that they probably have stocks in, or the corporation itself who is selling that particular product actually owns a particular brand of batteries.

More money for them. Less for you.

so you have to spend more money or so they can keep their cost down to make more money
and when they add them they are usually low grade anyway.

ps keep rechargable batteries home then you'll always have them

it is because the manufacturers are money grabbing bastards and are too tight to supply them. And if they do they are usually the crappy ones made in Taiwan that are nearly flat or have leaked.
