I think he is the president. I don't agree with many of his policies. I think he has a dismal domestic policy, but I admire his conviction in the war on terror. I am sure that personally he is a decent and friendly gentlemen. I say this not from experience as I don't know the man, but rather based on the comments of people who do know him, including many of his political enemies. What I can say absolutely though is that I have more respect for Mr. Bush than I do for many of the people posting about him on Yahoo Answers. I agree with the right to dissent against things you don't like, but I draw the line at vile slander. There are always 2 roads you can take, the high road where you voice your discontent in a reasonable intelligent manner stating facts to support your cause, and the low road where you just engage in name calling and provide no solutions or facts. The latter is road all too often traveled. It is unfortunate because it serves no ones interests, and adds nothing to the discussion. It does however speak volumes about the character, or lack thereof in some people.

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks! I don't know him, do you?
Look, he was smart enough to become president, right?
If everyone keeps blaming Bush for everything, the real pirates will never get into any trouble. You can't touch Bush, so quit trying. But you can get at the guys who pull his strings. Bush doesn't make any decisions without the permission of his owners. He's only there to take the blame. That is his main job description. He is the fall guy. That's what a president is for nowadays. To take attention away from the real crooks.
Bush is only as good or evil as his base. You wanna get to the top, you gotta start at the base.
If you really wanna blame somebody for all the problems in our country and beyond... blame yourself. You and you alone can change what's happening. That's why nothing will change, because you are collectively a fat, tamed, conformist, controlled, illiterate, bunch of morons, just like your beloved GOP!

I think he missed his opportunity to be a Reagan-caliber president. I think the entire Republican part missed the opportunity. Since, the Republicans have taken control of the presidency and congress, government spending has spiraled out of control. This administration spends more than the Clinton administration. The only thing Bush has vetoed was the stem cell research and that was to appease religious people, not to curb spending. His stance on illegal immigration is a kick in the teeth to all of those immigrants who came here legally. His interference with the Terry Schiavo case was another attempt at appeasing the religious right. He spends too much time pandering to the religious faction of the Republican part than to the more centrist majority that actually put him in office.

I feel sorry for him. Could any President have faced a worst test? Americans now have a very different kind of enemy who multiply like cockroaches. They also have the same filthy hygiene as roaches. They do not have honor or live by any creed so therefore, fighting them is different from any enmy we've ever had in our history. He's trying to keep them over in their own land away from his citizens. Nothing seems to work against the varmits.... again much like the cockroach. They have no regard for human life, even their own so they all need to be terminated or perhaps captured and labotomized. Go Notre Dame.

Thanks for posting this neutral. Glad to hear that.
My opinion is that he's a bad president. I don't like his views and actions. I do, however, think he could be an ok person. Heck I could see him being a real fun guy to be around. That has little to do with his political views though.
What can I say? I dislike the guy in politics! I'm allowed to. I am happy that we can even disagree though.

I think he is an amoral, shallow, greedy, stupid, lying, mass-murdering gangster who has brought America to its greatest crisis since the Civil War - and therefore to our greatest opportunity. We can, with huge numbers finally seeing clearly how 'conservative' principles laid waste to our environment, treasury, reputation, and safety, and national unity, have a rebirth of dediction to our founding values. If we don't, I fear what the viciousness of Bush has done is revealed that all is lost in the American Republic and the day of this grand dream of humanity's has passed.
Hoping for the former.
