I want to know what country offers tours or guides that will take you to see many animals and be able to get up close to them or even touch them. So far it seems Brazil has the biggest variety from all sorts of mammals to frogs and insects. But I need to know exactly the best place, considering the cost, availability, safety and more.

Zimbabwe has a giant Nature Reserve valled Hwange National Park which is the largest game reserve in Zimbabwe. Formerly known as Wankie. The park is situated in the south west, on the main road between Bulawayo and the world famous Victoria Falls.

Hwange National Park covers over 14,600 square kilometres. The park is close to the edge of the Kalahari desert, a region with little water and very sparse, semi-arid vegetation.

The Park carries 105 mammal species, including 19 large herbivores and eight large carnivores. Elephant make up the largest proportion of the biomass. All Zimbabwe's specially protected animals are to be found in Hwange and it is the only protected area where gemsbok and brown hyena occur in reasonable numbers. The population of wild dog to be found in Hwange is thought to be of one of the largest surviving groups in Africa today.

It is never safe to go close to wild animals and touch them.... in fact because of tourists doing this exact thing, many people have subsequently lost thier lives. Here in Canada you are not allowed to feed, touch or interact with the wild animals in our parks because its just plain stupid, the bears especially are of concern when people feed them and make them look upon humans as a source of food... later they end up hurting people. I suggest you rethink trying to pay to touch wild animals and put yourself in danger.

PS sending me insulting messages will not make me change my opinion of your ill advised trip where you will "be able to get up close to them or even touch them" (wild animals) You asked about safety, so that is the aspect of your question that I answered. I did not insult or harass you in any way I simply stated my opinion on how unsafe it is to take a trip with a guide that takes you close enough to touch wild animals.... So next time maybe you ought to think twice before sending me an insulting personal message when I did nothing to insult you and I did not attack you I simply expressed my concerns about safety... which you asked about in your question, "But I need to know exactly the best place, considering the cost, availability, SAFETY and more." ....

Safari to Africa! Lots of animals to see there....but don't think you can touch any of them! Don't think anyone would allow that. Also, maybe Belize, or Costa Rica, Australia (actually you can touch wild monkeys there....or rather they will touch you by attacking you and trying to steal your purse!) Happened to a friend of mine that went there! They thought that any sort of bag meant food!
