I watched it couple of times in my life. I have to admit that it could be interesting for a 6 years old, i really can't get it when i see people look at it.
I mean, what's the point... It's like watching gymnastics, but performed by bunch of people that can't do half of the things real gymnasts can. And, of course, they usualy have much more ugly costumes / makeup.

Becuz it's entertaining and sometimes it can be pretty dramatic. Especially when they go backstage. Did u watch the entire episode??

Why do people watch X-Men, NASCAR, the Kentucky Derby? Why do people enjoy such shows like Desperate Housewives and Veronica Mars? It's simple: entertainment.
Different people like different things. I'm sure this "fake" wrestling is a lot harder than it looks on TV.

For me: Entertainment, that is the top most reason.
Different people like different shows on TV.
The story line that's folds every week.
The characters involved.
You can feel it when you start playing Smackdown vs Raw 2006/2007 on PlayStation.
That's how i got hooked into.

It's theater for younger people and younger people at mind.
I don't watch it (not for the past 30 years at least) but can see the entertainment value in it, to deny that is to not be entirely honest.

Its like the Male soap. Women have Young and the Restless, General Hospital etc. Us guys have WWE, ECW, and (the very disappointing) TNA. Its a taste of choice.

I love the entertainment part of it, funny characters that makes me laugh. But from October till June I'm really into NHL Hockey!

Just a form of entertainment..it is so popular because of Vince's $$$$$$$$$ to make it widespread and nationally known. Which in turn makes Vince even more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!

I used to love it when I was little but anymore I just lost interest in wrestling. But I used to watch bret hart and shawn michaels anymore. But when i grew up i just quit watching it. But if you like it there's nothing wrong about watching it.
