Scientists claim that Mathematic is a perfect, common and simple language of whole Universe. However I find out this believe fails in some circumstances, especialy like in faith and people relations. Mathematic has also other weak points like it always need whole data to receive outcome from formula. Some terms like zero, infinity and some mathematic operations are still a reason to dispute.Emotions are different. We destroy when we feel anger and pain. We create and build when we feel need and hapiness. They are even in places we think that time stops there like frozen and dark parts of Universe because those places scares us. They are in matter like planets and stars. If they have nothing common with emotions then why we say about violence and shock when they explode and why we say about excitement and surprise when we discover their secret like how they were born from matter clouds? Emotions are in animals because they care about our feelings and they fear of our evil.

Emotions are in wind, when he rise in power he scares defenseless humans. They are in sunlight when softly worms our skin. They are in sand when we walk on him admiring viev of ocean coast. Emotions are in music when it keeps me alive… Mrok (Gloom)

Not so fast... Concentrate on a child. They have characters difrent like us but tell me which one mother use Mathematic to comunicate with her child. I belive in power of Mathematic but in my rating its still more common and understandable language. Tell me what Mathematic have to do between foreigners when they hate each other or are curious about. I believe I feel almost the same no matter how many people murderer killl. It can be one, few, millions... I will not focus on counting but on not letting him to do it ever again. Think what will be the first respond from aliens when you will send them massage full of numbers despite of soft words "hello, be my guest". Ha, we are so violent that they posibly left their survey ships while escaping as fast as light. Think what Mathematic can do between us without feeling of need to listen and understand someone else.

You need to learn alittle more about what your talking about before you talk about it.

Good to see your thinking, which is more than you could say for most people.

It's hard to quantify emotions. And even harder to read or interpret them, sometimes. At least with Mathematics, you can look at an equation and boom, there's your answer. The planets don't move around the sun based on emotional responses, and science is much more reliable than emotion in predicting what will happen in the world.

A lot of people would say that emotions are reducible to chemistry, and chemistry to physics. In a way emotions are governed by mathematics. . . which I suppose makes mathematics the more universal of the two, no?

I see what you are trying to say but emotions are not a language, they need to be communicated verbally, symbolically, physically (or mathmatically). Emotions are part of the creative process but they do not communicate it. A universal language is something that everyone can understand. Yes, everyone understands emotions but they cannot convey most information, only emotional information.

Why should they?
1)You have given a non-coherent reason of rit, as such I see no reason to accept the proposition.
2) Emotions are caused by neurochemicals within the brain in response to environmental stimuli and are usually described in subjective terms. Mathematics is objective, it doesn't matter what we think, or feel, or whether or not our levels of serotonin or dopamine are, 1+1=2.

Emotions are subjective and are prompted by differening (sometimes unidentifiable) triggers/associations. Since different symbols and icons and events carry different meaning in different societies, you cannot connect cultures simply via emotions. Therefore, emotions would make a horrible "universal language," because they are not measure, are not often controllable, and are not always translatable.

Just because we all have emotions doesn't mean we all express them similarly.

Compiler and Assembler are the usually going on languages. Any pc can talk to the different pc with out translator. the optimum prevalence of spoken language is presently English, yet that ought to alter any time-- merely ask a Frenchman the single u . s . a . with the optimum kind of folk speaking one language is China, conditional on the reality that there are 2 different chinese language dialects, Mandarin and Cantonese, and a selection of of alternative sub dialects

Emotions are created under specific circumstances. But , something that makes me angry can make you happy! So, we can not communicate like that.Mathematics never lie and can express exactly the same thing in all universe.

I always thought that music was considered to be the universal language. You raise some good points though.
