Powerpoint is an excellent method for presenting information. unfortunately, many people forget the basic rules when presenting on powerpoint
1. Dont use random effects...they are not all suitable& drive people nuts!
2. Only use short headings and expeand on these using natural speec (prompts)...monotone reading is very dull!
3. Use colour schemes sparingly....its not a technicolour dreamcoat..
4. Its not JUST a prompt tool....Use animations if required (But only relevant ones)

When presenting, the use of humour is usually appreciated. It breaks up the presentation and promotes a good feeling concerning the presenter (avoid jokes...just use humourous comments).

Make sure you practice the presentation, but dont overdo it. Excessive practice can create a dull and monotone presentation.

find out a relatively unknown fact about the subject you are presenting. I usually put this at the end to finish on an interesting fact that will stay in the interviewers head.

And most important of all...KEEP IT ALL NATURAL...If you try to be something you are not, this will be immediately apparent to the interviewer.

Good Luck!
