My parents. I remember yelling downstairs to my mom or dad and saying "What time is it when the big hand is on the 6 and the little hand is on the 7?"..or something like that.

properly ... a million. there is long hand which tell minutes 2. there is short hand which tells hours 3. and there may be a lots thinner and longer hand that's seconds be conscious .. there are 60 seconds, 60 minutes and 12 hours (on the face of the clock) 4. State that if short hand is to the left of the hour (say short hand to the left of 12 - or between 11 and 12) the hour continues to be 11. The minutes are with the help of denomination of 5. so if long hand factors at a million .. its 5 minutes into the hour .. it factors at 3, its quarter-hour into the hour, and so on. 5. all the hands circulate from left to the astonishing (or turns around to the astonishing) and this circulate is termed "clockwise" that enables? oh and remember approximately the "AM" and "PM" element ..

My parents & older brothers all taught me. I had a great incentive---this fabulous "Snoopy" watch!! LOL! I was so proud when I finally earned it!
Still have it.

Having a hard time teaching my son, though...everything is digital, it seems. I've told him I'll get him a watch, when he can actually tell time the "old-fashioned way" (his words...). He thinks I'm a monster---cuz I also expect him to learn math before I get him a calculator, & learn to print before I let him write letters on Word!

:-) :-)

Wow! That's been so long, I don't even remember. I remember my Dad brought me back a Mickey Mouse watch from Chicago, but I don't remember who taught me to tell time.
