you can do it even before one year??? The trick is that your house can't be on the market for sale for atleast a year. If so you will not be able to refinance!! I have refinanced people that have done it twice in the same year, not a problem

You can refi a month after if you want....might not be worth it. You should check if there is a pre-payment penalty. If you can get a better rate you could refi...just watch out for the cost and intangible taxes, ect. to see if it's really worth it.

Anytime. The mortgage company would be glad to take your money as fees, etc.
