A light cream color would be flattering and would blend with most ties, too. Maybe a good earth-tone blend of burgandy, deep blues/greens and cream/browns for ties, too.

Brown, even dark brown, isn an "earth" color. Go with any other earth color in light or medium shades and you're sure to do fine. Tans and browns in light shades, also greens and some colors like Burnt Umber. Match the Tie to the Suit for a perfect match.
When you wear a white shirt, you can add a slash of color with your tie, again choosing the earth colors, but in more BOLD designs, such as Gold, Bright Yellow, even Orange.

I love blue with brown. Any shade of blue would work, but I especially love medium shade, brighter blues. Any shade of pink would work as well. A linen/cream/ivory colored shirt would also look great, and is a nice change from white (which is really sort of boring unless you have a sharp tie) - just make sure it has enough color to not look like a dingy white shirt. Yellow is another nice choice. Don't be afraid to experiment with colors - take the jacket with you when you shop for dress shirts. For a more professional look, stick with the more conservative colors (medium to light blues, white, ivory, pale yellow); otherwise, have some fun with it!

oh hun id wear myself light orange or even burnt orange. Another favourite is a cream shirt with cream accesories. or even a light brown shirt. remember to wear anyhting bright and adventurous as lifes too short to blend in.
