stress and anxiety causes confusion

I do find that people are confused a great deal of the time in recent years.

I feel that when we are overloaded with details, the brain/mind complex has difficulty maintaining coherence.

When we live out of rhythm with Nature the forces that created us and maintain us also go out of rhythm. This leads to a loss of coherence.

The brain is subtle and the mind/brain complex is even more subtle. At a very tiny scale there is a continuous alternation between chaotic states and coherent and ordered states. But this alternation requires rhythm. If the rhythm is lost the sense of order and harmony between the individual mind/brain and the world around is also lost. The result is incoherence.

It is helpful to know where you are going - at least intuitively. If you do not know where you are going and are also out of tune with Nature and Nature's predominant cycles, you will feel confused at a deep level.

Generally right now I think most people are confused a lot of the time because things are changing too quickly. A lot of the technology is changing. The global situation is changing. So we are always under stress to adapt and learn and have trouble finding significant solace.

There are also environmental factors. There are a lot of risky chemicals bombarding us all the time. A lot of these chemicals mimic hormone receptors!!! This means that fundamental chemical reactions in the body which contribute to the way the nervous system processes information is being disrupted. Like many others right now I also believe that there are more chemical disturbances going on in the body than we are aware of. We are using far too many chemicals in many items where they are not needed. This includes things like laundry detergent. These chemicals are known to create brain fog. A natural environment with good air helps enormously to restore coherence.

Taking time to empty the mind in a refreshing place is also a valuable way to restore coherence and a sense of order and direction, or simply a feeling that things are right. But one must be able to breathe in an unobstructed way. Proper breathing illuminates the spirit which in turn restores coherence and a feeling of well-being.

But I think your question is a good one and quite observant. All transitional periods in history can be confusing. This is a transitional period. Even the climate seems to be under-going a transition.

One way to beat confusion is to learn to be still and not force either communication or knowledge. The mind likes balance. It does not like excess.

I don't think I'm confused. As a matter of fact I know I'm not. Wait a minute. Maybe I am. No! I couldn't be. But I guess I should always allow for the possibility. Naw-- it's not possible. I think I know for almost certain that I am in no way not confused! There.

Have a great day!!!

P.S. Now see what you did!!!!!!

I think you have the question wrong. people aren't confused its only the non-athiests that are confused, and they are confused cause their beliefs make no sense... I am NOT confused.

human mind is very weak. the guilt of past and anxiety of future spoils the present. it causes confusion and stress. that is why majority of human beings depend in belief in God for support.
