My wife admitted a few days ago that before she met me, for about a year - she had an affair with her married boss.
She no longer works at that same company - but I have met the guy many times!
I was shocked to hear about it - but - its kind of exciting to know, too.
Did any other husbands find out something about THEIR wifes past, that surprised them?
And for the wifes out there - was your husband shocked about something you did in your past?
Or..something you hope he never finds out about??

I can't tell you how to stop obsessing about your wife's past but I can give you my side of things... I have been with other guys b4 my hubby (a number that makes him nervous), he is like you, doesn't want to think of me with someone else. I however don't even think about about anyone I had a previous relationship with and I couldn't care less about the people he has been with!!! Whats done is done and there is no going back. When she was with those other guys, she wasn't thinking that in 5 years she was going to meet Mr. Wonderful so she should save herself for you... Just let it go and build your future together! As far as the being better than you part: There is a BIG difference in Making love to your husband versus screwing a guy you are dating. Making love is hands down much better and I am sure she is not thinking she is "better" than you. Sh eis probably tryign to come up with ways for you to enjoy it more.

The only thing my husband found out about were the names of the men in my life (no details ),before there was an us.
He opened the front door and this guy I knew back in jr.High had stopped by to pick up his daughter a year younger than my baby girl,(they are best freinds) thats when he found out who the childs father was, my man's shock lasted about a week and went into hyper driven anger. ( all three of us have suffered thru his mouth and sorry attitude since ).All because this guy beat the crag out of my man when they were in high school.
Sometimes knowing isn't for the best.As for the tells I could let out about my man and his past ,(EMEMEM) thats my lil secret.
I think it's kinda funny cause my man has got the whole picture in his head completely wrong,and I think his own imagination is his worst enemy.....

I slept with a female in the past. When he first found out, he wanted to have a three some... me, him, and some other woman. I had to explain over and over that it was an experimental phase 10 yrs ago in college and it's not going to happen now. He eventually let it go. But I can tell that the idea still crosses his mind once in a while.

That is nice you are excited! S_xually? Then your relationship has many areas that it can grow in, it also sounds as though you have more to learn about one another. Always communicate about everything, never be jealous and always be mature!
Why be upset or shocked and about what???!!! Because she had an affair with a married man or b/c she didn't tell you sooner!
Who cares what happen in the past, the past is past and forever gone! That is why they call it past! What ever happen then has no difference on life now!
(Nothing shock's he or me! makes no difference what either of us did then it all matters what we do now that we are married.)

Oh,I'm sure the majority of us have a secret thing or two that we don't ever want our spouse to know about. I cheated on my husband only because he had done it to me and also because he was not paying me much attention at the time. Do I regret it? No. Am I sorry? No. Would I do it again? Sure,but only if my husband cheated again first.

I got married virgin and my husband has humiliated me a lot for that. I guess this is the age of the 'bad girls'. A toast for them!
I SOLELY desagre with some answers which say that women should be discret about sexual past.
I guess women SHOULD SAY IT ALL!!! Cause guys will respect them more for that!

My wife would be totally shocked to learn that I had an affair with a man....and she would totally freak if she knew that I was seeing a man now....and will be seeing him for our next date this Friday morning.

my husband was a little shocked when i told him about my past. but it didn't bother him. when i was 17 i worked at a bowling alley. i thought one of the assistant managers was really cute. we ended up sleeping together many times. i went to his house many time because i was friends with his cousin who lived with him and his gf. i would tell my mom was was spending the night with his cousin and go there to have sex with him. his cousin knew why i was really there. she was cool with it. i don't know if my mom ever found out the truth but my husband was turned on

your wife slept with a married man for a year, and even though it was before you two even met, it tells me that marriage means nothing to her! since she didn't care about his wife, chances are, if given the chance she will cheat on you.

I lived in Germany for 2 years ... 18 ... in the Army ... surrounded by guys, girls, sex shops and whore houses ... and can legally drink ... so yeah ... there's a few things that I might have to keep to myself .. lol .. !
But boy did I have fun ... !
