Biology is the scientific study of life and living organisms, what they are made of, how they live, eat, reproduce, die and how they function throughout the lifespan. It can also inlvolve how organisms are affected by different environments. Bios = life and logy = study of. Some brances of biology are biometry, ecology, evolution, genetics, molecular biology and physiology. I'm not sure what you mean by "how you do it?". If you're referring to a career as a Biologist, you major in it in college, get a Bachelor in biology, go to grad school and earn a Master degree in biology, then a PhD and, one hopes, a job. You would want to specialize in a particular area of biology such as molecular biology or environmental biology.

Biology is the branch of science dealing with the study of life. It is concerned with the characteristics, classification, and behaviors of organisms, how species come into existence, and the interactions they have with each other and with the natural environment. Biology encompasses a broad spectrum of academic fields that are often viewed as independent disciplines. However, together they address phenomena related to living organisms (biological phenomena) over a wide range of scales, from biophysics to ecology. All concepts in biology are subject to the same laws that other branches of science obey, such as the laws of thermodynamics and conservation of mass.

Good luck.

Biology is the science of living things, mainly plants and mammals, like man. You probably heard of medicine, they use a lot of biology in their treatment of us whenever we go the doctor for sore knee or such. About doing it, you have to go school, mainly from grade school, high school, and get your B.S. and then M.S. and if you can still handle it a PHD in biology. If you want to do it as a layman, you are out of luck, it is a very specific science course and it is very expansive and intensive study, you maybe able to take online classes through a small university, but, you have to do lab experiments in the school's science laboratory.

Biology is the scientific study of life.

The study of life uses two approaches:
1. Discovery science: verifiable observations and measurements
~which derives general principles

2. Hypothesis Driven Science: testing hypothesis using the scientific method
~which supplies scientific knowledge

Hope that helps! :)
