Norte Dame has key players and were beaten by the G Tech D even thou they won the game. I am going with Michigan because I luv them, but here's why they will win.
1. Their is immense pressure on Llyod Carr this season.
2. LaMaar Woodley and Leon Hall well be in the NFL draft and they need to prove their worth during this game.
3. Chad Heene is on the Heisman watch and his performance could catch the eyes of many voters. Mike Hart is being hailed as a underrated RB, he needs to use this game and prove to everyone that he can run despite being 5'9"
4. Steve Breaston well explode in front of ND defense because whoever kciks/punts the ball to him, 99.9% of the time hell end up in the endzone.
5. Norte Dame has had problems protecting Brady and so does Michigan, the game comes down to the running and special teams, and most improtanlt the Ds.
Michigan 21
Norte Dame 14

I like Michigan, although Notre Dame has lots of momentum coming off the win vs. a good Lions team.
As far as my Roy Williams question, I was not ripping on the Lions. I thought I ask it objectively. I seriously expect Detroit to play outstanding at Chicago. Detroit +9.5 is a gift from the Gods in Vegas.

I have to root for Notre Dame, since I'm from the South Bend area. I have to reasons to root against Michigan. 1) Big Notre Dame fan, and 2) I go to IU. Although I know IU sucks and wouldn't be able to beat Michigan.

Michigan has great athletes but ND looks like the winner here in what could be a lot closer game than Penn State. If the O-Line can protect Quinn, it's all over for the Wolverines.

Since it doesn't appear that the Earth will do us all justice and swallow both teams whole, Notre Dame will win because Lloyd Carr sucks.
Then the Farting Amish fall next week in East Lansing.

I have to agree that it is going to be a good game...It all depends on which QB shows up for both teams...niether one has looked overly impressive (compared to their hype) this year, but have gotten the job done...I think that if Henne can have a big time game he can break that D...TV will be on that channel without a doubt. Pulling for you though BLUE...
