If "Rang De Basanti" is to be made in Tamil,?

then instead of Bhagat Singh used in the Hindi Counterpart as the centre of topic, which South-Indian freedom fighter would be referenced to in Tamil film (who was as revolutionary in South as Bhagat Singh in Punjab)?

I dont know of any tamil freedom fighters that are this popular, like as in Bhagat Singh, but if there were, it would need to b a good cast and made pretty well, because Rang De Basanti, was AWESOME
