the way i think of it is like there are thousands of dimensions that exist throughout the universe. right now in this dimension we are living this way, but in other ones we could be living totally different lives but the same person/being.
think of it like this, you go to a bar and order a blue drink. in other dimensions you are ordering drinks but different colors. but when you take a drink everyone else at the exact moment does as well. look into quantum mechanics.
a personal theory i have is when we dream what if we slip into those other dimensions? when we dream about other people we've never seen before in our lives could quite possibly be our other live in another dimension.

hmmm... i think it is yes...
how else can you explain some strange things happening such as OBE, past memory recall etc?
the fact may be that there are different dimensions but i wonder if we live at the "same time" in them... and maybe yes, who knows!
occultism has tried to answer such questions...but one should have an open, exploring mind to consider possibilities...
