This took me forever to find but the cartoon you are looking for is Tenko and the Guardians of the Magic.
The cartoon is based off of the magician Princess Tenko.

It was shown from the years 95 to 96. It had a girl and guys in the show.

I remember this show very well and I was very upset when it was cut off.

I dont imagine you may ever draw close a martial artwork thoroughly, so that they are all infinitely demanding to entice close. in spite of the undeniable fact that, my vote might want to probable be TaiChi or a number of the Kung Fu faculties that concentrate on the interior elements of the martial artwork. Kung fu develop into not meant to study as a totally exterior form, it really is why quite some faculties style of suck and educate unimpressive warring parties. Takamatsu stated the most deadly combatants he ever fought were a Shaolin monk and a Shorinji boxer.

I'm not sure, but here's a link to the FOX morning lineups for every year. I saw a lot of those cartoons and none seem to match what you're describing..it might have been a syndicated show that showed up on your local channel.
