No. In fact I am sooo happy I got mine done. I always used to say 'When I'm 18, I'll get a tattoo done!'. It got to 18 and I never did it. Finally, the other day, 3 years later, I woke up and decided to get it done. I knew what I wanted, and I decided it was only the pain which was putting me off. I went on my own and the guys there were really friendly and put me at ease, and surprisingly, it didn't hurt anywhere near what I was expecting. I now have a cute little fairy at the top of my leg, under my hip (a cleverly chosen spot as I hope to be a barrister one day!). Although I have only had it for about 6 weeks, I love it and hope I continue to. I also had it done in colour which I had always sworn against, but once again, very pleased! I now want to have my initials on hip and am not hesitant to do so. So, for now, I have to say that I love my tattoo and don't regret it at all and I hope I feel the same in many years to come. I would just advise however that you are 100% certain that you want it done, and that you go to a good tattooist. Good luck.

I don't have a tattoo and i regret it! I could of had one a few years ago and chickened out at the last minute and now wish that i hadn't. I would of been a permanent reminder of some good times.

I'm sure the hundreds of thousands of girls that got lower back tattoos do because there is nothing remotely individual, original or sexy about being part of a heard mindless cattle.

Sorry girls, its gotten lame...Dime a dozen, *yawn*.

The only thing is, this is one trend you can't bury in the back of your closet or give to the Salvation Army and laugh about later...You're stuck with it unless you pony up the thousands its gonna take to remove it plus the massive pain...Then you get to enjoy your scar.

Smmaaaaaaart.

Don't get me wrong, tattoos on women can be VERY sexy...Just not on the lower back, arm or breasts.

I got one when I was young and immature. So yes, I regret getting mine. I love tattoos, if they are meaningful and are done by a talented tattoo artist. If I could go back in time, I would have waited and gotten something that meant something to me. I got mine on my tummy area. Girls, if you plan on having a family, DO NOT get a tattoo on your tummy area.

No. I have several. Avoid names-if you have one already and regret it ask a tattoo artist if he can cover it up. I love mine-just make sure it is something you want and in a place you want it. It is far more expensive to have it lazered off-and more painfull because you usually have to do it more than once. and more expensive.

Yes, I got one about 4 years ago. It's a black heart and is suppose to have the little dipper and the north star in it.Sadly enough, it got infected and now I have this ugly black heart with these weird looking scars in it.I keep saying I'll get it fixed but never have.

I still like mine. I've got 2 and i got them both in designs i spent a long time thinking about and that mean something personal to me and also i got them in not too obvious places so they're not on display all the time. Its good to think about it for a while and consider it cos reversing it isn't cheap!

I got my on the left ankle done in 2002 after 6 years of thinking about having one done. I love it - it's the newgrange triple spiro. sooo cool.
would never get any name tatooed. or writing of any kind as well as anything coloured.
I do put loads of sunblock on my black one but still I was told it will fade in time and I will have to repeat it in about 10 years time...

Iv had tattoos but i cant say i regret it i think young people today get them because they think its cool. I think if you get one it should be personal and mean something to you rather than having it done on a whim that leads to regrets
