The press is saying Nicklas Lidstrom but the Wings front office has not confirmed it.

It will more than likly be Lidstrom, the only other person that it could of been would of been Draper, whole will more than likly wear an A along with either Chelios or Zetterburg

I don't know if it's been released yet but I'd say it's going to be Chelios or Nik Lidstrom. There arent' any more likely choices.

Probably Lidstom, but real hockey fans know that no team has ever won the Stanley Cup without a Canadian Captain..

i heard it was niklas lidstrom. it isn't official yet. the original choice was shanny but he left to go to ny rangers. so they narrowed it down to chelios, lidstrom, draper, zetterberg and datsuk. any one of those guys would've been a great fit as captain.
