If you want a Saturday job (note spelling) the best thing you can do is visit the mall. Most stores hire weekend staff and there will be plenty of places to visit. Also, why not try babysitting or doing odd jobs locally such as dog walking, light gardening etc. Plus, there's always the old faithful paper round too. Good Luck!

my son is 16 and he went around all the stores in our local area and either got application forms or verbally told no.... he completed all applications and had a number of interviews and was offered 3 jobs....
The important thing is if you take this avenue of walking the streets is make sure you look as if you mean business..... wear a smart pair of trousers and a shirt.... remember 1st impressions last

i was in your shoes when i was 16 (I'm now18) just keep handing out your c.v if u have 1 if not then got one done local newspapers are wicked for Saturday jobs

my niece went round loads of shops and asked, she soon got a job in a chemist. people like to see you getting off your butt and trying, someone will sort you out if you try.
