your body must have gotten used to the running. you should try aerobics, kick boxing, or pilates to get an alternative source of cardio. try swimming. that has always worked for me.

I'm the same weight, same height. You're NOT technically overweight so your metabolism is obviously reasonably high. Try a green tea tincture from Invite Health or any other high-quality company. Take 2-3 dropperfulls 6 times a day, which is much more than commonly recommended but it's very safe so you should see some nice results.
Try eating every 3 hours. Your body senses that its getting food often and will burn up most of it.

Drink GREEN TEA. I have drank it for 13-14 years and it really works at weightloss. It naturally boosts your metabolism and detoxs your body.
"
How does green tea help weight loss? The clinical trial study the green tea's benefits concluded: Green tea has thermogenic properties and promotes fat oxidation beyond that explained by its caffeine content per se. The green tea extract may play a role in the control of body composition via sympathetic activation of thermogenesis, fat oxidation, or both. "

Green tea also has Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is an antioxident. Here are some of the health benefits besides boosting metabolism.

The best way to boost your metabolism is to eat right. If you're eating too little, your metabolism slows down. You can also take some daily multi-vitamins that claim to help. Keep exercising too.

Eat 4-5 small meals a day and change up your workout routine. Sometimes you have to shock your body in order to make it work harder. Try a workout video or water aerobics.

Exercise is the best way to do. You could also try one of those "health" shakes from GNC or something. But I would just stick with o' naturale exercise.
