yes.
ive had one compliment on here (yahoo answers) telling me i sound lovely.
I had a compliment from a girl at work telling me i am a gentleman.
I told her she had a great personality and i like her cos shes different. she told me it was a lovely thing to say.
no i dont fancy her or her me but it was a great moment of appreciation of friendship

I won an argument and the other person bitterly noted "you have an answer for everything don't you". On the one hand there's an element of smugness I could afford myself, on the other hand that was the closest I came to getting a compliment today so maybe that's not so great.

ive been off work due to domestic stress and just went back today. so many of the people i work with(adults with mental health problems) said how much they've missed me and some even asked if i neede a shoulder to cry on theyd be there for me. very sweet totally made my day so i cooked some of them dinner to thank them that was my way to return their kind words. ( i can cook honestly)

Yes, as a matter of fact. When my love and I woke up this morning, he pushed my tangly morning hair out of my eyes and told me I was beautiful. I said "I have eye crud and morning breath." He said, "So do I. You're still beautiful."
It made me feel like the sun was coming up inside me as well as outside the window. I think I'm very lucky to have him.

I wrote a poem yesterday and sent to a online friend who distributed it to her friends. She emailed me the feedback-all positive-and this was so gratifying! It is one thing when your relatives and friends praise your work but to get praise from absolute strangers is wonderful, in my opinion!
