America is controlled by the Jews because the Jews control everything... look at the CEO's of all american companies most are jews... and because Israel has probably paid off most of the senators and everyone feels bad because of the Holocoust... honestly i think what the palestinans is doing is justifiable... how would u feel if some powerful ppl came to your house made u get out and then they claimed that house as their own... would u not get ballistic and do desperate things like suicide attacks??? once i thought in this P.O.V. my views changed

It's a complex issue that didn't just start in our life time, nor in Israels day of becoming a country. The struggle in the region has be going on even before Christ & the atrocities have been perpetuated by all sides. To understand the US's stance also goes back. There's a documentary out there called "Why We Fight", which might help you understand America's reasonings.
But in my view, the killing of innocent's of all age groups will continue from all sides until, someone comes forth to set aside all the past & be the 1st to do the right thing. Compromise, & give everyone the respect they deserve, the freedom they have a right too, & help rebuild their lives to include all that wish to live there. That includes giving up some land for a Palestine Country which lives harmoniously next to Israel, not wishing its demise. Yes, I live in a Utopian world of my own... but it's a better place than what we have now. I can hope can't I? May peace come to us all !!!

Israel has been a long time ally of the US for good reason. They are a democracy, and while NO country is perfect on the whole they stand for American values such as freedom and peace.
Now I'm not sure just what children you are referring to, but I am going to assume you mean children killed during the recent war in Lebanon.
It is a sad truth that in war innocent people almost always suffer and die. This includes children. But then how many Israeli children have died from suicide bombers? From rocket attacks? From other attacks? War is a two way street. In this most recent case Israel was attacked and they responded with force. Innocent people on BOTH sides died. So why is Israel being singled out here?

America helps Israel because:
a) it is a democracy
b) it is a capitalist economy
c) it is an ally in an area where valuable natural resources exist
d) it is generally a peaceful entity in terms of world affairs and uses military means to defend rather than to attack
e) there is a large and well-heeled pro-Israel demographic in the U.S. that supports politicians on both sides of the aisle
The state of Israel was born of a global agreement to apportion land to the emigrating Jews of Europe and elsewhere. That being said, upwards of 70% of the current land mass of Israel was purchased from previous Muslim and Christian landowners. Yes the Golan Heights were brutally attacked and invaded, Yes the IDF consistently fires upon suspected paramilitary and terrorist cells in Gaza and the West Bank, sometimes killing children, but never targeting them.
What Palestine's response has been is to TARGET children, to TARGET women and innocent elderly, sick and disabled. Palestine does not care enough about its children to keep ALL of them from suicide missions. What parent would send their young children to die in a bus or a taxi or bicycle to blow up other children? WHO DOES THAT?
I think a re-examination of the historic events, especially recently, will show that Israel is ready to live peacefully alongside a sovereign Palestine, if only Palestinians would STOP KILLING THEMSELVES in suicide attacks or by IDF response to grenade attacks. There is peace for Palestine whenever it wants it, and sadly, it does not want peace as bad as it wants the impossible: The Vanishing of Israel.
Let's remember who kills children on purpose, and who instigates the IDF response. It is NOT the Israelis.

Israel does not target children, please get a clue. America aligns itself with the senisble and sane people on Earth, and it happens to be Israel in the Middle East, not Hezbollah or the other crazies.

Terrorists target Israeli Children, then hide behind their own children when Israel strikes back... not sure how Israel is to blame for that...

Israel is trying to keep its children from being killed. Remember that it is the Palestinian and Hezbollah that are committing suicide bombings against Israeli civilians, not the other way around. If they stopped trying to massacre Jews, their children would be safer.

Because the evil materialistic Americans are bent on oppressing the Islamic peoples and enslaving them, with the help of its only ally, Israel. Children mean nothing to the hypocritical Americans, who weep over every little Jewish child killed, yet spare not a thought for the precious Muslim child killed by their hatred and viciousness. May they be judged by Allah for their misdeeds!
