Well, if it's time to move on, it's time to move on. If you don't have kids, are not planning to get married, don't have much mutual debt, and are no longer enjoying each other's company then move on. What's keeping you together? You may be wasting each other's time, and life is too short for that. Right?

I think that maybe you should first ask him the things he likes to do. Since people change over time his interest may have shifted. For that matter so may have your. Next time you go out go someplace quiet and you two can relax. Ask him if there is anything new he has tried lately or wants to try. Be open and don't criticize but try and understand that both of you are evolving. It is only through communication and support that a relationship will evolve also. Still be true to your feelings and if he is growing into a person your not interested in be honest and break it off. There is always someone out there that shares your interest.

If you are not getting along, you have three choices.
(1) Try and fix the problem(s) by talking things out, either just the two of you, or if you really are serious about each other, then go talk to a couples counselor.
(2) Break up with him.
(3) Wait around for him to break up with you.
Why do you think breaking up would be a mistake? Maybe you are not compatible with each other. Yes, breaking up is not fun, but I can tell you from experience, it's better to be single and happy than in a relationship and miserable.
Do you know how to assess long-term compatibility? Many people of all ages don't know how to truly assess compatibility so it's nothing to be ashamed of, but it is something you can learn. I can recommend a great book, "Are You The One For Me?" by Barbra DeAngelis. That was the best book I have ever read about relationships.
If you really are serious about each other, then the best thing you can do is to stop having sex until you get things worked out. If the sex is great, but you are otherwise incompatible, then it will affect your judgment. Great sex is a good thing, but it can also be disastrous because you can have a tendency to stay in a relationship that's not good for either of you...and because the sex is great you think you should stay together. (She also talks about this in her book.)
Good luck.

Are you argueing about important stuff or silly stuff. Stop arguing and start talking. If you are not happy them maybe it is time to look at the relationshio. Dont make a mistake of thinking it will get batter alone cause it wont. Look at the relationship, why are you unhappy? Would you be happier out of the relatioship than you are in it? Is there a possibility of getting counseling?

It's the lasting fun that turns a short term relationship into a long one. But sometimes the ordeals of life do get in the way. I would write down certain things that need to change or need to be done. Give it 2 more months. If you're expectations aren't met, then it's time to say goodbye because your relationship is not going in the direction you want. Feel free to share your list with your boyfriend and let him add things too. If he thinks it's a stupid idea, he's not willing to work on things, or thinks there's nothing wrong, then I wouldn't even give him 2 months.

Try to pinpoint exactly what it is that is upsetting you. People don't just lose interest for no reason...try and remember when you started feeling this way and why. Once you have figured that out, sit down with him and discuss it. Maybe you don't get enough attention, or he doesn't take you out enough, or he doesn't show you that he loves you enough. All of these things can be changed, if he is willing to work with you as well. Also, if you are feeling this way, there is a good chance that he is feeling the same. A serious discussion would benefit you both.
If talking it out does not make you feel better, then it is silly to draw out a dead relationship. Give it some time and try to work it out, but if it doesn't work...leave. Don't waste either of your times.

First of all how, do you know that is going to be a mistake.
May be your relationship is just over for good. Do you know the source for your argumants? If yes, you can always talk the differences with him and see how the things are going to be after that. If you still are not happy, why you two should stay in this relationship and just be miserable.
Live should be lived to the fullest, so don't waste your time with someone who you are not sure is the ONE.

Try a bit more romance, and spend some time apart. If each of you are secure about the other this shouldn't be a problem. Try to rekindle what brought the two of you together in the first place. Dating can be a wonderful thing when you know what your significant other enjoys. Less talking about what wrong with one another and alot more of showering each other with compliments and effection. If this doesn't work...Bounce!

Plan a trip without him. When you come back and things are still the same, it's a sign that you should move on. Sometimes separation helps ease the tension and makes the person more appreciative. Sometimes it provides you the time and space to rethink continuing the relationship all together.

If you're arguing all the time, then breaking up isn't a mistake - it's survival.

Don't NOT break up with him because you are afraid you'll miss out on something or because you are afraid of being single.
Staying in an unhealthy relationship will only hurt you and him in the end. Just break it off now, and go find something that works!
