Do you use Bittorrent or do you use Limewire?

I use niether, I find it opens ports and allows spyware.

Limewire and Ares.
Use a good anti virus program like Panda. It will protect against all these threats.

It can if you're not careful. I do download Torrent files and I also use eMule Plus (I hate LimeWire).

I use Lime wire, I don't have any problems with it... But I do run ad aware a few times a week to clean everything up...
