Hi everyone,
I would appreciate everyones help on this problem.
I would be singing a song in an event this week. I would like the background music for it .... I do have the original mp3 song with the artist's voice in it, i would like to remove the voice and only have the music so that i can play it during the event and sing along.... just like karaoke style. Is there anyways i can create a karaoke mp3 out of the original mp3 i have and play it during the event. Any help would be sincerely appreciated..

Regards,
James

I believe Creative Labs has software that either removes or suppresses the singer's voice from the song. I know their EAX console software has something like that.

There are several software applications available that will reduce the lead vocals on an audio track. The problem is that this works effectively on only some songs and always degrades the music quality to some degree. You should have mentioned the song you are talking about. Someone may have a backing track of it.
