That song is not the one with innuendo, it's "Roam".

Love Shack is just a fun song.

It was an ad-lib during recording of the song that was left in. As the refrain started, "Tiiiiin Roof", the playback equipment failed, causing the singer to spurt out, "rusted!" as a joke. They though it sounded cool and left it in.

It is actually an old southern slang term that meant someone's pregnant,
but in "behind the Music" the members of the B52s said that they didn't know it meant anything when they put it in the song.
