I have a 93 Chevy Cavalier that stalls when coming to a stop in traffic or stop signs, etc. The fuel filter has been replaced, but hasn't helped. Tried fuel injection cleaners too, but no help. The mechanic said he couldn't help since he can't duplicate the stall. The car is also idling rough, but can get up to hwy speed.

With extra recommendations we'd want to nicely be in a position to get a touch extra certain with the prognosis yet with in basic terms this recommendations i might want firstly the most inexpensive elements to interchange and bypass from there. See once you've spark as i trust it really is probable a spark difficulty fairly than gas. Spark plugs are low cost to interchange and can't harm, an same with plug wires. sturdy preventative upkeep products which at the on the spot are not too intense priced. After those the record in basic terms is going on.

The idle air control valve or the idle speed control actuator is faulty, loose, or damaged. Also could be the throttle position sensor. Hope that helps.
