Buy the tint, you can buy it at Wal Mart if you have one near you. Buy a tinting squee-gee and some "Tint On". spray the tint on onto where you want to apply the tint, make sure the area is clean first. Put the tint onto the glass and squee-gee all the air bubbles out of it, let it dry. Once dry, your windows are tinted so you can then sit in the car and enjoy the tinted life you will then live.

first of all make sure that the windows are extremly clean, no armorall on them. spray the windows with a lightly soapy water, put on tint and squgee water out from the middle making sure you get all the air bubbles out . If your windows are bent both ways, Its not going to work, like your rear window, best left to a pro, pay the money and have it done right the first time

I can confirm that any tinting is likely to be illegal in the UK. Anything that reduces the amount of light coming in the front windscreen by 25%, or 30% withside windows will be illegal, and roadside checks do take place. Almost any level of tinting is likely to do this.

"tint" is just coloured plastic film, often with an adhesive coating.

Make sure the glass is very clean and free of dust...
cut the film roughly to size...
working from the middle out, "squeegee" the film onto the glass
... trim the edges with care, and a sharp knife :-)

If it's not too hard to do, you may find it easier to take the side windows out and tint them on the bench - it's easier than trying to get the film to fit "down the crack" at the bottom

Buy the material from you spares shop. Make sure you buy something that is permited by the law. There is a percentage of light that should still go into the car. Messy it up and you will be on your way to court.

get a razor blade and a spray bottle with some warm water and washing up liquid!!wash the windows inside and out then apply the film over the outside of the window using this as a template take a rough cut!get two pieces of sticky tape use them to seperate the film then spray the inside the window with the warm water and washing up liquid and stick the film down in one corner then peel away the rest of the film coating and stick the film down as you go!youll need like a credit card then spray the film with the water and smooth out the bubbles with the credit card working from the centre outwards.use plenty of water so you dont damage the film.trim it down after its all smooth then stick down the edges with a hardryer.if you get bubbles in the film then pop them with a pin and use the hairdryer to stick them down!hope that helps you out. i did my car myself.

Just tape some foil up on the inside of your car. It will look as good as any DIY job you try.
