why do ppl like pets and why do some ppl dont?

Do your own homework. This section is intended for people who are stuck on a certain part of their homework. Such as "Do you use a comma or a semi-colon in this sentence?" Then in the additional details bit you can put the sentence and put an _ where you are unsure.
Then explain something like "I am writing an essay on 'World War II' and I forgot what you are supposed to put".
That would be an example, but bear in mind not to ask too many questions about the homework. Otherwise people will suspect you are asking for little details bit by bit until your homework is entirely finished with hardly any effort.

Being animals (yeh animals) ourselves means we are biassed to other animals, and can relate to them. You sometimes see in them, special personalities. People also like them because no matter what mood it's in, it will want to lay by you and be stroked. A pet is someone you can tell all your problems to, without it arguing back, or judging you.
However some people are afraid of the commitment that looking after someone brings. A pet is always gunna pester you for something, whether it's food, or a stroke. And many people are focused on careers and other kinda reltionships, that they dont have the time and patience to look afta something. Also as someone-else said, people are proud of their houses, and pet = mess!

My answer to this question would be: I like pets in general because they are fun to play with and can be good company. I also like dogs because you have to exercise them each day and that keeps you healthy and active; cats because they are cuddly and purr when they are stroked. As a parent, I think it's good for a child to have a pet because it helps them to learn the responsibility of caring for something. I hope my answers help you with your homework!

Because some people have time to look after them, and enjoy the interaction with other animals. Some people are scared or allergic. What I wonder is why people get pets, and don't look after them properly.

there are lots of answers , one reason is that some ppl like to company of animals or feel safer living w/ them.
a reason y they dont is cuz there allergic ,or ar just afriad of them.i personnaly like having pets!i have a dog and 2 cats.

even if we are human beings and we live in the same world,each one of us it's unique...that means everyone is different :it has different opinions,different tastes in music,art etc,different conceptions about life,Friends and so on..so a part of the people love pets,the other part no..but here can be more reasons: the influence of the family or the fact that the person is afraid of them...

i believe it has a lot to do with your upbringing.as a child, my house was like a zoo and my mother taught us to love respect and care for our animals, a mantra i have instilled in my own children but on the other hand my husbands parents never allowed them to have pets and associated such creatures with filth and disease. Since he married myself however he has changed his opinion for we have two dogs and a hamster so it is my belief it is passed through family opinion

Everyone is different and have their own likes and dislikes.
Some people like marmite some dont.
Its just one of those things.

it depends on how well the owner looks after the animal, I hate people with smelly dogs and when they can't control them!
