Dude! I am so with you! Let's run away together somewhere warm in February to get out of the freaking cold. LOL....actually you should talk to your doctor about SAD.(Seasonal Affective Disorder.) It is a kind of seasonal depresion that comes on due to lack of sunlight. when the days get shorter. I grew up in L.A. and moved to Salt Lake City in my early 20's. SAD hit me hard. But of course a little Prozac fixed that! Good luck....summer is NOT officially over til the 21st.

I have lived through 50 winters and I still hate the cold. In the past several years the central prairies has been receiving less snowfall in winter and a higher than average temperature all year round. So I hate the cold, but not as much because it is cold for shorter periods. I do like the snow or frost on the tree branches. It is beautiful. Also I like the sparkly type snow that blankets us once in a while. The other thing I don't like is the lack of sunlight.

I'm kinda with you on this one, but kinda against you. I love winter, just wish it didn't last as long. I'm looking forward to snow, even done all my winter shopping before summer was even done with lol. I love being able to go sled riding with my boys, looking at Christmas lights when there's tons of snow on the ground, and my kids screaming "Look mommy!!" After a while I do get tired of the snow though. However it should stick around till New Year's. That way there's still snow on my bday (Dec. 29).

I lived in Phoenix for six months once and I was in Awe! I think I would miss the snow around Christmas, but that is why airplanes were invented, so you can always go back home for a visit. A nice island in the Carribean is the place to be. Equator Bound!

Yes but being here to put up with it is better than not being here at all. I hate the cold, dreary, gray days when the wind blows and you can't get warm, when you have to dress in so many layers that you look like the Michelin man!I keep my thermostat between 66 and 68 but I can see the $$ flying out the window! We live in MA where it can get pretty cold.

NO! I love winter and the snow. Love building snowmen with my granddaughter. But, she is moving 1000 miles away in a few days, so it won't matter much anymore whether it snows or not.

When I retire in a couple of years, I'm selling everything and relocating to southern California. Either San Diego or L.A.
Had enough N.Y. winters, fifty-two of them.
Hey Juliette, hate to tell you but if he keeps shoveling and you doing nothing, expect to be a widow. Shoveling kills many men from heart attack.

Sure I dread the approach of winter, and snow.
I hate to shiver. Br-r-r-r. I don't like the cold. Nothing is as stupid as walking around with cold, wet feet.
Solve the problem by moving south where there is less of that kind of thing.
