Ok, black people have a hard time in America.
There is no doubt about that. They have made strives forward, but there are always those who would knock them backwards.
Now, having said that, I believe that the greatest "foe", is the black man, himself! They regard the white man as a foe. Whatever "Whitey" wants, its bad! They simply dont trust us.
They would listen to thier "leaders" diatribe, of hatred, and discrimination, when there isnt any in places, but the Leaders need to give an illusion that there is, so that they will stir up mistrust, and have the black man think he is inferrior, in order to foster his hatred of the Whites.
Now, the Parents, if thier offsprings do "good" in school, then they get mad, because they are "being white".
Yes, black on black violence is a crime in itself. We dont have to do anything, but watch them self destruct, because they refuse any help!
When you give it to them, its a handout...They feel inferior.
When you give them a job, Whitey is unfair, they quit and go on welfare, which is a Government hand out and they resent that!
Until the black man changes his "mindset", and those leaders stop promoting thier hatred, (which isnt going to be for some time as they make huge amounts of money, shaking people down), they are not going to "get ahead".
Look at Colin Powell, they consider him a traitor, because he succeeded in life!! Now, what can you do with some one who thinks success is BAD!
It will be many more generations before they start to realize that they have to overthrow thier black leaders and start to learn and grow, like every other contributing adult in America.
I wish you well..
Jesse

1)White history is taught in school all year long. It is not just condensed in a month. Also, no one wants to keep hearing about Black people in school as just slaves, but as human beings.
2) There are many scholarships for people and the United ***** College fund was originally founded because many Blacks were not given the opportunity to have qualified jobs to pay for college back then.
3) Spike Lee have to use a black person to play MLK because Coretta was not married to a white man. Hollywood like to tell biographies that actually show realism. Why not a Black man? Wasn't MLK black?
4) There are some Black people that complain about racism because IT STILL EXISTS. I as a black woman already know why racism is still here because some people carried on their ancestors ignorant and murderous ways. There is no logical reason to hate someone because of their race because I could be just as ignorant and hate all white people the same because of things done towards me and my family but I don't.
5) Every race should have pride in themselves. So what? What the harm in having white pride day? As long as it not the kkk version of white pride day that preach hate.
6) What rights have white people been denied? Please list them. If you mean affirmative action, blame the goverment because they agreed with black people that there was a problem and passed the law in Congress.
7) Make no mistake, black people do complain on violence in areas that we mostly occupy. I just went to a stop the violence and prayer meeting in our neighborhood two weeks ago.
I know myself whining is not the answer. Taking action is and I know that is what the United ***** College Fund and Martin Luther King had in mind. Motherlandprecision, Mary n the Lamb, and Moma, your responses were absolutely awsome!

1) If it is OK to have a black history month, is it OK to have white history month? Would that be racist? TO BE HONEST ALL HISTORY BOOKS ARE MAINLY WITHIN REGRADS TO WHITE RACE AND EVEN IF BLACKS HAVE MADE SIGNIFICANT THINGS HAPPEN IN HISTORY YOU ONLY SEE THINGS ABOUT MLK. YOU DON'T NEED A MONTH TO REMIND PEOPLE THAT YOU ARE MORE THEN A LAZY CRAZYHEAD STEREOTYPE BUT BECAUSE OF SOCIETIES VIEW IT'S SAD WE EVEN HAE TO DO THIS AND MAKE A SPECIAL MONTH WHEN ALL HISTORY SHOULD BE TOGETHER.
2) If it is OK to have a United ***** College FUND, is it OK to have a United Caucasion College Fund? Would that be racist? THE UNTIED ***** COLLEGE FUND ACTUALLY DOES NOT ONLY GIVE BLACK SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINACIAL HELP. 40% OF FUNDS GO TO PEOPLE WITH OTHER ETHNIC BACKGROUNDS.
3)If Spike Lee wanted to make a movie about MLK, and George Clooney showed up for the main roll, he would not get the part because he is white. Is that racist? IF I WANTED QUENTIN TARINTO WANTED TO MAKE A MOVIE ABOUT JFK WOULD HE USE MORRIS CHESTNUT.
4)So many African Americans complain about racism, but has anyone stopped and asked WHY....I mean REALLY why this is the case? BECAUSE MANY PEOPLE DON'T FEEL THE RACISM OR SEE THE RACISM WE GO THROUGH EVERYDAY OF OUR LIVES I'VE BEEN CALLED A N----- MORE TIMES THEN I CAN COUNT AND PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE THAT IT HASN'T STOPPED. SO YES WE TALK ABOUT IT, THAT'S HOW WE HAVE BROUGHT OURSELVES SO FAR FROM JIM CROW DAYS
5)If I started White Pride Day, would I be racist? Yes? But why? Black's have Black Pride Day. "WHITE PRIDE" IS A STATEMENT USED BY THE KKK AND OTHER ARYAN GROUPS AND THE TERM IS SEEN AS NEGATIVE FROM WHITE AND BLACK ALIKE. BLACK PRIDE IS A STEMENT USED BY A GENERATION OF PEOPLE TO PROMOTE EQUALITY NOT HATE AGAINST ONE RACE
6)If black's 'march for rights' its OK, but if we had a white march for rights, would that be racist. Right? IF WHITES FEELS THEY ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST...SURE...I MEAN BLACK AREN'T THE ONLY ONES WHO MARCH FOR RIGHTS. WE'VE RECENTLY SEEN THAT WITH HISPANICS ABOUT IMMIGRATION RIGHTS
7) Black's constantly complain about violence against them by white's...so why is the gheto (all black) the most dangerous place to live in a city? Sounds like a martyr to me. I'VE LIVED IN THE GHETTO ALL MY LIFE, WELL ALMOST AND I NEVER SUFFERED FROM A VIOLENT ACT, BUT I HAVE LIVED IN THE BURBS TEMPORARILY AND HAD A CARLOAD OF WHITE BOYS CALL ME A N---- AND THROW A POP BOTTLE AT ME

Let's look at the definition of the word 'racism'. Racism is when you lump everybody in one race together, as if they were all the same, and then treat them all negativity for some stereotypical reason. You give us a good example when you say, "I'm not a fan of blacks.... because of their whining." This assumes that all blacks are whining, and that no whites are whining,, which is obviously not true. The truth is that there are some of blacks that whine, and some of whites that whine,,, and there a some blacks that don't whine and some whites that don't whine. But you would treat blacks that don't whine as if they did, because of your negatively generalized statement,, and you would treat whiny whites as if they were not whining. This is not fair.
As for white history month - every month in the USA is white history month. Who are the heroes in our school curricula? Not Africans, not Mexicans, not American Indians and not Japanese, eh? Black History Month was established to add a balance.
White pride is another thing that is not absent in the USA throughout all its history, as we see in the pervasive White supremicist attitudes, such as you present to us here. Again, Black Pride, and Indian pride are to balance that out, more like we are equals. Whites do march for rights, every Veteran'sDay, Memorial Day, 4th of July. Shall we start limiting the Whites to only one day, like th Blacks only have one?
Which Blacks are constantly complaining? It seems to me you are the one complaining. I suppose that it is human nature to keep wanting more, and to never be satisfied.
When we come to the day when you are a fan of Blacks, and Indians, and Mexicans as well as Whites,, then we won't need these balancing out special days for anyone any more, because we will all see each other as beloved brothers.

moma, sam, mary_n_the_lamb and motherlandprecision broke it down pretty well, so I don't have much to add here except to say:
You are indeed racist. You are hateful. There's not much anybody can say that's going to change your mind because you've already decided, long ago, that you don't like anything that's different from you and anything you don't understand. The same goes for those who've agreed with you. That whole "it was a long time ago, get over it already" attitude is just as stupid as "everything's the white man's fault" attitude.
And no, it's not that you don't like Black people because you think they whine too much; that's just an easy way for you to blame them for your hatred. You decided long ago that Black people are lazy, that Black women are ugly (see your previous comment in another racist's question regarding Black women's attractiveness), etc.. You do indeed judge people based on skin color. And you will never understand because you don't want to. You will forever be too close-minded and simple-minded, and I pity you for that.

Racism and Discrimination can I guess be subjected into two categories. There's real racism and discrimination where the one person does not like someone else because of race, and there is just joking around. Example: Rush Hour 1 and 2. Carter does not like Lee at first and make sfun of him, people would take that as racism but its not.

By definition discrimination is negative though it has been justified to meet what some call higher goals. The term is changed eg. equity. The action is the same but the result is expected to be better.
If whites marched they would be called the Klan.
Till there is equality this will be a reality

You do make many good points here, and it's not fair. Our history defines us and, therefore, the whites have been defined as horrible racists for the past 200 years because of our history. Other aspects of history have been forgotten, such as the facts that Africans made slaves of opposing tribes long before the whites came to ship them off. Slavery was and will always be a horrible crime, but we're too bad about picking and choosing the tragedies that we won't let go of. There have been plenty of white slaves throughout history, but we've forgotten all about that because it's not as recent. We all need to let the past be the past. Instead of complaining about what our ancestors went through, we should be proud of our history. We should be proud that they paved the way for us to be able to live, whether they were black or white or other.

I agree with your views here. Unfortunately governments seem to be so worried about upsetting the 'minorities'. A black person on this site complained that black people have been through hell and white people haven't, but I made the point that I don't agree that black people have been through hell at all lately! Maybe in the past, but that's just dragging up history. The white people have to be so careful to pussyfoot around and not upset anybody, if equal rights really existed this wouldn't be the case. I say have white history month, march for white right (as in not having to watch what we say about black people when they can say whatever they like about us!).
