Americans? Why do they change things just to be different, it's just akward, like this; why did they change the order of a short date, the rest of the wolrd uses Day/Month/Year but they use Month/Day/Year, why now short dates cannot be used because the idiots made an alternative, day is shortest, then month then year.
Why do they say Math? Its Maths (Mathematics) and so much other words, you hear so much about how they were "brave" fighting in Vietnam, but nothing about how they got their arses kicked, lol, and everyone knows how fat and enoying they are, but why, whats with the obsesion with food and being different, its just akward, they only like the games they made - like american football, a fake game where they wear huuuge shoulder pads and throw a rugby ball around, rugby players are much tougher, and everyone knows that Football is the best sport, we actually use our feet but you still call it soccer, its played all around the world, unlike american football who else is sick

Most of them are quite nice, but a few want everyone in the world to follow them when they make changes. I really dont like it how they chaned sulphur to be spelled like sulfur, and how some of them think they're better than the english, and how they think they fought the whole of WW2 but only came in on the last year! They did help us a lot, but we killed Mr Hitler!! But the majority of Americans are really nice!
PS to the person who said that Yahoo Answers is American, this is actually the Uk and Ireland version.... :)

so to combat Americas hatred towards the rest of the world, you use hatred towards Americans, hmmmm. Well maybe you should ask your Mum, if that is correct. Maybe she should paddle your "ars" a few times and you wouldn't be an ignorant bigot? If you don't like Football, then big freakin deal, does that really matter? What did your jr high team tell you that you kick like a girl? Get over yourself, and stay out of the US then, easy solution! As for the one who said this is the UK/Ireland version, what you are using may actually be, but the original version and PROGRAM is 100 percent American sweetie.

I will only respond to one thing you said.... in Vietnam The U.S. did not get it's *** kicked... The was was lost by the politicos and the corruption of politics... not on the battle field... militarily the NVA was at the end... they had no chance of winning militarily... The weak will of the american people betrayed those who cold have easely ended the war in victory.
The rest of you comments demonstrate how much ego has to do with the differences that keep nations apart.

You can cure your bed wetting problem easily by going to your g.p.All english people have an inferiority complex to the US and Germany. How many times have Germany won the World Cup? What would English people do without Hollywood films or American culture? The English have their student music for attention seeking fags like kaiser chiefs and oasis, and their male models like Beckham but what else?

What's sad is that we Americans don't even take the time of day to think about anyone else. You like what you like, and that's all there is to it. Americans are very patriotic and supportive of their own, its the reason for the success of America as a country.
American football is much more interesting than watching a bunch of skinny short guys kick a ball on a huge field and go 2 hours without anyone scoring.

Has any Soccer or Rugby player ever been hit that hard?
Football players have been killed. Padding has saved many lives, as well as debilitating injures.

It is Mathematics, not MathSematics. Therefore Mathematics = Math (abbrev.).
Also, the longer you stay here, the more you will become obsessed with food, too. I see more and more foreigners enjoying our diverse selection of "fat" food eating places.
If you don't like football, don't watch it. I don't care for it, so I don't watch it. Well that's solved.
And, lastly, we play soccer too.
